Null Results

This page is meant to be a resource for informally keeping track of null results, which often are not published but which still may be quite useful to other researchers trying to do the same thing.

Minimal models

One might want to find the unitary minimal models $\mathcal{M}_{m+1,m}$ in a controlled fashion by considering the fixed point of the $\frac{1}{2}(\partial \phi)^2 + g \phi^{2(m-1)}$ QFT in a Wilson-Fisher-like perturbative expansion around $d=d_c -\epsilon$, where $d_c = 2(m-1)/(m-2)$. Unforunately, even in the large-$m$ limit, $d=2$ is too far away from $d_c$ to have perturbative control in $\epsilon$, as described in section 2.4 of this paper.
