[[https://arxiv.org/abs/1601.05000|Slava Rychkov's notes]] are my favorite introduction to CFTs (although they certainly assume more than a passing familiarity with field theory).

A bit farther afield, if you want to learn about renormalization, check out [[https://arxiv.org/abs/1210.2262|Sfondrini's introduction]]. The section on Feigenbaum universality is particularly enlightening (and you should perform numerical experiments on your own to build intuition).
